Ingredients
Instructions
-
Cut a Joseph's pita or lavash in half, then cut the half into triangles that are cracker size.
-
Place the pieces on a paper plate and microwave about 1-1 1/2 minutes until nicely golden brown. If you don't have a paper plate use a regular plate, but line it with parchment paper.
Note
Pearl says: "That's it! These crackers are fantastic. I love them with cheese and tomato, or even peanut butter. They work well with Light Laughing Cow or Weight Watchers cheese wedges for FP or E needs...
You can use your oven to make bigger batches of these crackers, which Serene will approve of a little more. Place the cracker size pieces on an oiled baking tray and bake for a few minutes at 350, or until brown. There is no need to turn them, but watch them carefully as they burn easily.
To make them corn chip style, cut into triangular pieces and pat or spritz with coconut or olive oil. Shake some sea salt (and perhaps some garlic powder or other seasonings) on before nuking or baking. They make yummy nachos, topped with cheese, jalapenos, and other fixin's."
