Instructions

  1. Cut a Joseph's pita or 1/2 lavash in half then cut into triangles that are cracker size.
  2. Place the pieces on a paper plate and microwave about 1 to 1 1/2 minutes, until nicely golden brown. If you don't have a paper place, use a regular plate, but line it with parchment paper.

  3. Top with your favorite toppings, such as: cheese, turkey pepperoni, deli meat, butter, cream cheese, guacamole, tuna/chicken salad, salsa.

Note

You can use your oven to make bigger batches of these crackers, which Serene will approve of more.  Place the cracker size pieces on an oiled baking tray and bake for a few minutes at 350, until golden brown. There is no need to turn them, but watch carefully, as they burn easily.

To make them corn chip style, cut into triangular pieces, pat or spritz with coconut or olive oil, and shake sea salt on before nuking or baking. They make yummy nachos, topped with cheese, jalapenos, and other fixin's.

Other options include: butter, garlic powder, chili powder, or other seasonings.
