Description

"Sipper Soup" is part of the "Lost Recipe" series! You can watch Serene and Pearl make this recipe by tuning into THM TV - "In the Kitchen". This is a "hot new addition" to our already popular "All Day Sipper Beverages" ! We wanted to create an All Day Sipper that would not only be flavorful but also warm and nourishing for you to sip on all day, while taming the Snacking Monster. The "lost recipe" from the Trim Healthy Mama Cookbook, page 126-127, "Purist Primer and Purist Primer on the Go", have taken center stage in this ultra slimming, enzyme rich, blood sugar stabilizing, and detoxifying Sipper Soup!

1 Quart All Day Sipper

Ingredients

Cooking Mode Disabled

Instructions

  1. Blend all ingredients well with 2 cups of boiling water in a blender until desired smoothness is reached or until you see no "flecks of okra".
  2. Pour the mixture into a quart jar and add more boiling water until the jar is filled to the top and stir.
  3. Pour the sipper into two insulated coffee mugs to stay hot as a comforting all day sipper.

Note

  • Feel free to use a generous teaspoon of miso. Yellow miso is not as strong as other miso's.
  • Feel free to use enough mineral salt, to taste. Using enough mineral salt will boost the flavor profile.
  • Experiment with the amounts of miso and mineral salt until you find the flavor that you prefer and "own it."

Purist Tip: Look for Miso in the refrigerated section, of a specialty grocer, one that is non pasteurized, but a live food.
