This is a smooth and hearty beverage, especially good in the winter, but a fine addition to any smaller S breakfast to fill you up a little more. This recipe makes a large supply so it’s a good drink to pull out of the refrigerator in the morning and heat up to have alongside an S style Greek yogurt swirl or a fried egg or two. It gives a lot more mileage if you have an active morning ahead of you. If you are not a morning coffee drinker, this may be the perfect warming morning beverage for you. Coconut Malted Nog

This is a smooth and hearty beverage, especially good in the winter, but a fine addition to any smaller S breakfast to fill you up a little more. Ingredients
Instructions
-
Pour one can light coconut milk (365 or Kroger brands work great) into blender or Vitamix and fill rest of blender up with water.
-
Add cinnamon, vanilla and TH Super Sweet Blend or TH Pure Stevia Extract to taste.
-
Add enough sea salt to the mix to create a more caramel like flavor (about ¼ tsp).
-
Blend well.
-
Store this dilution in an empty mason jar in the fridge. When ready to drink, shake, and pour a good coffee mug’s portion into saucepan.
-
This next step is optional, but makes the drink even more super nutritious—good for muscle growth, benefits joints and ligaments, soothes the GI tract, and great for those with IBS type problems. Add 1 rounded tsp TH Just Gelatin but even( plain Knox gelatin will be of benefit). Stir gelatin in before heating milk and let sit for a minute.
-
Heat on medium while stirring, bringing to nice hot coffee temperature, and pour into drinking mug.
-
Add 1 flat tsp golden flax meal, a spot of cream, or 1 tsp virgin coconut oil.
-
Stir for 15 seconds to let flax dissolve—and enjoy.

Note from Page 253:
You can leave the flax out if you want a thinner consistency, but it gives a heartier drink which we like.

Most conventional blenders will hold anywhere between 48-64 ounces of ingredients. When I make this multiple serve recipe I personally will add 32 ounces of water to my blender. I find that ratio of the 32 ounces of water, along with the 13 1/2 ounces of lite canned coconut milk and the other ingredients to be just the right amount of dilution for my personal taste.
It gives me "approximately" 45 ounces of liquid which I then divide into five- 9 ounce servings (approx.) of nog or you could get four- 11 ounce (approx) servings. You however can adjust to your personal liking, tastes and amounts that you would like to use and serve yourself.
