If you are one of those people who grew up with steamy bowls of hot, creamy cereal topped with brown sugar and butter than this one is for you. We have discovered that our new gluten-free Baking Blend not only makes great muffins and cakes, but it doubles as the perfect base for a bowl of hot porridge! And since it is a Fuel Pull, you can pair it with butter or cream for an S or add fruit for an E. Versatility and deliciousness all in one bowl!

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 pinches TH Mineral Salt
  • 1/4 cup TH Baking Blend
  • 1/2 tsp TH Super Sweet Blend (1/2 to 3/4 tsp; or 1 generous tsp TH Gentle Sweet) (or any on-plan sweetener; to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp TH Natural Burst Vanilla Extract (or, maple extract)
  • sprinkle cinnamon (optional)
  • 4 Tbs TH Pristine Protein Powder (or TH Optimized Vanilla Protein Powder)
Instructions

    Put all ingredients into a saucepan and mix well. Heat to a gentle boil until porridge thickens -about 1 minute. (Or, heat in a microwave safe bowl for 1 minute.)

    For an S Meal, add a generous pat of butter and a dash of cinnamon. Or use a splash of heavy cream and fresh berries.

    For an E Meal, omit butter, add diced apples (or fruit of choice) and cinnamon. Or, serve with a slice of sprouted grain bread.
