1 Single Serve Recipe

Ingredients
    For the Biggie Shake
  • 1 rooibos tea (1-2 rooibos tea bags)
  • 1/4 cup water (just off the boil)
  • 1/2 cup water (cold water)
  • 1/2 cup frozen okra (diced)
  • 1/2 tsp mct oil (or extra virgin coconut oil)
  • 1/4 tsp TH Natural Burst Vanilla Extract
  • 1 pinch TH Mineral Salt (1-2 generous pinches)
  • 1 tsp TH Super Sweet Blend (1-2 teaspoons)
  • 1/8 tsp ginger (ground ginger)
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon (ground cinnamon)
  • 1/8 tsp allspice (ground allspice)
  • 2 doonks nutmeg (grated nutmeg)
  • 2 doonks blackstrap molasses (optional)
  • 2 tsp TH Integral Collagen (optional)
  • 1/8 tsp sunflower lecithin (optional)
  • 6 large ice cubes (6-8 large ice cubes)
  • 1 Tbs TH Pristine Protein Powder
    • For the Optional Topping
  • 1/2 Tbs TH Baking Blend
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon (ground cinnamon)
  • 1/3 tsp TH Super Sweet Blend
  • 1/4 tsp butter

    Brew the tea bag(s) in the boiled water for 5 minutes, then discard them. Add the tea to a blender along with all the other ingredients (except the ice cubes and whey protein) and blend until very smooth. You want all the okra completely broken down first, so blend like a maniac! Add the ice and blend well again. You may have to stop the blender and stir a couple times or add the ice slowly until it is broken down. Add the whey and blend for 10 to 20 seconds more. Taste and adjust the flavors if needed to “own it!”

    Make the optional topping. Squish up all the topping ingredients into crumbles and top the smoothie.
