Instructions

  1. To make the spicy nuts, season them with aminos or soy sauce and red pepper and broil or pan sauté until lightly browned. Make the nuts extra spicy so you get lots of flavor for a small amount of nuts.
  2. Chop apple and add to a medium-sized bowl.
  3. Add cottage cheese, celery and seasonings.
  4. Stir to blend.
  5. Taste and adjust seasonings.

"A wonderfully filling way to get more E lunches in your life. The sweetness of the apple mixed with the spiciness of the garnish nuts make for a delicious meal. Since we’re in E mode here, don’t use too many nuts. Chop them very small and put lots of spice on them so you get oodles of flavor for just a small amount."

*You can also use cayenne pepper, Braggs Liquid Amino's or mineral salt for dusting on top of your salad.

NOTE: You could also use store bought spicy nuts, like Blue Diamond Bold Habenero BBQ.
