Description

Ingredients
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 365°F.
-
Melt the butter in a saucepan over high heat. Add the seasoning blend and mushrooms and sauté for 5 to 10 minutes, until wilted.
-
While the veggies are cooking, put the ground meat, eggs, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, Baking Blend, and half of the grated cheese in a bowl and combine very well.
-
Scrape the meat mixture into a 9 × 13-inch baking dish and spread out. Top with the sautéed veggies, then top with the remaining grated cheese. Bake for 45 minutes.
Note
MAKE A FAMILY MEAL:
- For the weight-loss plan, pair this with any yummy non-starchy veggie (such as Mashed Fotatoes on page 264) and an S-friendly side salad.
- Family members at Crossover stage can add a healthy carb such as buttered sprouted-grain bread, a baked potato with butter, or even a piece of fruit to end their meal.
