Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

  1. Mix together the mayonnaise, yogurt, and onion flakes in a small bowl and set aside.

  1. Brown the meat in a skillet over medium-high heat. Drain any fat. Add the garlic, salt, pepper, onion powder, and nutritional yeast (if using) and toss with the meat for 2 to 3 more minutes.

  1. Transfer the mixture to a 9 × 13-inch baking dish. Add the green beans, mushrooms, mayo/Greek yogurt mixture, and cheddar and combine well. Bake for 45 minutes.

  • For the weight-loss plan, serve with a giant salad or a smaller salad and another veggie like Mashed Fotatoes (page 264) or broccoli.
  • Children can have whole-grain bread and butter, mashed potatoes, or brown rice on the side for a Crossover.
