This is too easy! Simply pull out a family-size batch of our Marvelous Make-Ahead Meatballs from your freezer, top with sauce and cheese, add a side salad, and you’ve got supper! If you haven’t made the meatballs ahead of time, never fear. They don’t take long to whip up and can be made without special ingredients. Following this recipe is One-Batch Meatballs, which makes one meal’s worth. Okay, okay . . . we canhear some of you muttering about not having time for all this homemade meatballs nonsense! You’re a Prepackaged Pam and are not yet ready to change! Alright, you can use storebought meatballs if you must, not quite as healthy, but hey, this is all about baby steps, so don’t get down on yourself. You’re doing your best at your own pace. Do try to find meatballs with 3 grams or less of carbs; any more than that means there are too many starchy fillers used. This recipe is found in the “Comforting Casseroles & Bakes” section of Trim Healthy Table Cookbook, page 128. This recipe is a family-serve recipe that feeds 6 to 8.

Ingredients
Instructions
-
If using frozen meatballs, preheat the oven to 400°F. If using freshly made, follow the baking instructions in the One- Batch Meatballs recipe (opposite) and when the meatballs are done, take them out of the oven and set the oven temperature to 400°F.
-
Arrange the frozen meatballs or the freshly cooked meatballs in a 9 × 13-inch baking dish. Top the meatballs with the sauce and then the mozzarella. Bake until the cheese is bubbling and the meatballs are heated through, 35 to 40 minutes for frozen meatballs, 15 minutes for the freshly cooked meatballs.

MAKE A FAMILY MEAL:
- For the weight-loss plan, pair with a large salad and/or a nonstarchy veggie or WWBB Garlic Bread (page 245).
- Growing children can enjoy a healthy carb on the side like whole milk, sprouted-grain bread, rice, or whole-grain noodles for a Crossover.
