Place the grain in a small saucepan. Add the whey (if using, but do not turn the heat on yet.

Blend the water, coconut oil, cinnamon, salt, vanilla, collagen, gelatin, Super Sweet Blend, and lecithin (if using) until smooth. Pour over the grain and stir well, breaking up any grain clumps and dissolving the whey.

Add the berries and turn on the heat to medium-low. Bring to a perfect soothing hotness to eat; don’t boil hard and destroy the fragile whey micro-fractions.

Pour into a large cereal bowl and enjoy.

Note from Serene:
“Creamy Grains is supposed to be a high volume, filling bowl of goodness that is not gluggy or thick. The word “creamy” in the title describes the liquid over the grain which comes out like full-fat milk. However, if you prefer a more thickened porridge-type of breakfast, you could add about 1/3 - 1/2 tsp glucci to the blender with the other ingredients."

If you’re dairy free, this is a great way to get a protein rich, creamy E breakfast inside you without a speck of dairy to be seen!"
*Note: Adding the 1/2 scoop of whey will give you roughly 25 grams of protein together with the collagen and gelatin. It is recommended to add the whey last, before serving.
