BBBB – Baby, Brain, and Booby Builder. The Thin Thicks are not as large as the Fat-Stripping Frappas or the Big Boys (they make a manageable pint), but, man, oh man, are they thick! Like turn-your-glass-upside-down thick! These thickies make an awesome snack, but they’re not large enough for a meal replacement unless you’re in the mood for a very light meal. Have them alongside a sandwich or salad for lunch. Or, enjoy as a filling dessert after dinner. You won’t come away hungry until it is wisely time to eat again, and your body will be flooded with superfood nutrition. The BBBB Thin Thick is part of the “Thin Thicks” series found in the “Shakes, Smoothies, Frappas, and Thin Thicks” section of the Trim Healthy Mama Cookbook, page 425. This recipe is a single-serve recipe that makes about 1 pint.

Ingredients
Instructions
-
Use all the same ingredients as in the master recipe, except reduce the cocoa to 2 teaspoons, and use 1 teaspoon of MCT oil as the fat and 1 to 2 tablespoons of Sunflower Lecithin. Add 1 teaspoon of ghee (clarified butter) for a rich buttery flavor, if desired, or use 1 teaspoon butter extract. Add 1 raw pastured egg yolk (or the healthiest store-bought egg yolk you can find), and increase the salt to 3 to 4 pinches. Put the egg yolk in the blender at the beginning of blending your ingredients.
-
Place the water, okra, and lecithin in a blender.
-
Soften the gelatin in the cool water in a cup. Stir, then add the hot water and stir well again to dissolve the gelatin.
-
Add the dissolved gelatin to the blender, followed by the Gluccie. Blend very well, until the okra is pureed. Add all the remaining ingredients except the ice and whey protein, and blend some more. Stop blending, then add the ice gradually and blend until smooth.
-
Add the whey protein and blend for 10 seconds only.
-
Put the mixture into a pint jar with a straw, and slurp this thick creaminess to the last satisfying drop. Cheers to your health!

Recipe Notes
The Baby, Brain, and Booby Think Thick - from page 425 of the Trim Healthy Mama Cookbook:
"This rich and creamy drink is so filled with hormone-healing, brain-boosting, pregnancy-nurturing, nerve-calming goodies that it will catapult your health into a new state of flourishing. I devoured this smoothie during my recent pregnancy, but it benefits any woman, pregnant or not. I have chickens who run around my backyard, and I love to use the raw yolks because they are so golden and spectacular.
Okra is a super veggie to support pregnancy, as it is ultrarich in folic acid and vitamin C. Sunflower Lecithin supports brain health (including the brain health of a baby in utero), is nerve healing, prevents dementia, and treats depression. It is also a suggested supplement for nursing Mamas to prevent breast infections, and is a studied breast-cancer fighter... in short–a booby helper! MCT oil is the brain’s “super unleaded fuel” and raw vitamin D–rich egg yolks support hormone health. Collagen and gelatin help build healthy babies, support perky boobies, and help a blossoming pregnant Mama’s skin as it stretches and grows so it will snap back firmly. And the high antioxidant cocoa is a true beauty food, helping with healthy blood oxygenation and circulation. Cheers! Whatever you’re drinking to, whether it be a healthy baby, a more focused brain, or flourishing curves, enjoy every yummy sip along the way!"

CONCERNING THIN THICKS, page 422 of the Trim Healthy Mama Cookbook:
"We’re introducing our latest trimming drinks! We’ve been enjoying these for several months now, and we want you to join in on the fun. These “thickies” will thin you down and nourish you up, with their key fat-kicking and health-promoting ingredients. We have a new mantra: “Let your shake be thick, not your waistline!”
Thin Thicks are not as large as the Fat-Stripping Frappas or the Big Boys (they make a manageable pint), but, man, oh man, are they thick! Like turn-your-glass-upside-down thick! These thickies make an awesome snack, but they’re not large enough for a meal replacement unless you’re in the mood for a very light meal. Have them alongside a sandwich or salad for lunch. Or enjoy as a filling dessert after dinner. You won’t come away hungry until it is wisely time to eat again, and your body will be flooded with superfood nutrition.
Yes, these drinks do use a few special ingredients that are not optional, so you don’t have to try them right out of the gate if you are a newbie THM, but many of our seasoned Trim Healthy Mamas will want to dive deep into these babies! Okra and Gluccie are like quicksand to rising blood sugar. Putting them together as a dynamic duo in one recipe is a double whammykabammy to out-of-control blood sugar levels. They also satiate hunger pangs and cleanse your digestive system. Whey is a fat stripper and the glycine in the collagen is one of the most intense glucagon triggers, which is the hormone that releases fat from storage.
The whey and collagen are a crime-fighting pair, providing you with 20 grams of protein in a very balanced amino acid profile. SO PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING: if you are pairing this shake with a meal that already contains protein, reduce the collagen and whey by half. Sorry we had to yell, but we don’t want you wasting money. If you already have sufficient protein, there’s no need throwing tons more into your meal and ruining your budget or overdoing your protein counts. Collagen is not optional in these Thin Thicks, and it is not exactly cheap, so go easy.
The high antioxidant levels in cocoa used in the Chocolicious Thin Thick help your body use its insulin more efficiently to control blood sugar. Cocoa consumption has been shown to lower diabetes risk by 31 percent. The mint used in the Mintylicious Thin Thick also helps lower elevated blood sugar levels and soothes gas and bloating, which makes you feel thinner—woot! The addition of spinach in that version is not just for color; it also aids weight loss through its green leaf membranes called thylakoids, which have been shown in research to boost the production of satiety hormones. Foods rich in antioxidants, like the raspberries in the Berrylicious Thin Thick, are linked with weight loss, while the ketones in raspberries help rid the body of deep abdominal fat, called visceral fat, along with overall adipose tissue. The Matchalicious Thin Thick is a weight-kicking powerhouse. One serving of matcha powder is 137 times more potent in metabolism and disease-fighting polyphenols, called epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), than a regular brewed cup of green tea! New studies reveal EGCG’s promising ability to help prevent the growth of new fat cells. Don’t miss the reasons we want you to drink the BBBB Thin Thick at the end of this section. They needed their own space."
