Ingredients
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 300°F. Line an extra-large 11½ x 17½-inch rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or use 2 smaller baking sheets.
-
Put the Baking Blend, gelatin, collagen, and baking powder in a food processor and pulse to combine.
-
Pulse in the salt and garlic and/or onion powder. Add the sesame oil and butter and pulse a few times to coat with flour. Add the egg whites and blend for another few seconds. Take the blade out of the processor and stir the ingredients well (or blend all in a bowl with a stick blender). Spread on the baking sheet as directed for the graham version. Sprinkle with parsley flakes and sesame seeds.
-
Bake for 20 minutes, then reduce the oven temperature to 170 degrees F and keep in the oven for another 2 to 3 hours. Turn the oven off and let cool in the oven. Once cooled, break into rustic-shaped crackers (or you can choose to score before baking into rectangular shapes). Store in a zippy bag to keep snappin' fresh (zippies in the freezer keep them their snappiest).

NOTE FOR OVEN INSTRUCTIONS: There is very little prep to these crackers, just a longish oven time. If you work during the day, best to make this recipe in the evening or over the weekend. Or you can cook for the 20 minutes before you go to bed, then let them crisp all night at 170°F while you sleep.
