If you are craving hearty, hot, comforting, wrap yourself in a blanket on a rainy night sort of food, this is it! The radishes look just like little potatoes once cooked and taste similar, too (especially when made in the crockpot), from soaking in all that good gravy. Don’t be afraid of that bitter bite that comes to mind with radishes—all bitterness goes away after cooking. You’ll sigh... feel your stress levels go down, and dig into goodness in a bowl without a trace of guilt. This recipe is a family-serve recipe that feeds 6 to 8 people. This recipe is found in the "Sanity-Saving Crockpot & Electric Pressure Cooker Meals" section, page 94 of the Trim Healthy Table Cookbook.

ELECTRIC PRESSURE COOKER DIRECTIONS: Add all the ingredients (except the Gluccie and peas) to a pressure cooker. Seal and cook at high pressure for 35 minutes. Use natural pressure release. Add the peas to soften in the piping hot sauce and follow the directions in the crockpot version to thicken the gravy with Gluccie.
NOTE: This recipe was created and tested using a 6-quart Instant Pot. If you are using a different brand or different size electric pressure cooker, consider modifying the recipe as your results may vary from ours. Example: If you are using an 8-quart, consider adding more liquid as the larger circumference often needs more liquid to come to pressure.
