Note
From the book.... Basically, if you have a can of chicken broth in your cupboard, you have the making of a quick meal. Add whatever leftovers you desire from your fridge. Heat up, spice up, and lunch is ready. Leftover chicken breast diced up and added to the pot, or a little canned chicken breast does the job as the protein for an E or a Fuel Pull. You can also add leftover rice or quinoa for an E, but if you need to nudge some stubborn pounds, leave out the grain and keep to pure Fuel Pull mode of only protein and non-starchy veggies. Leftover beef or sausage will add some fat if you’re seeking an S style soup. Spinach leaves are the perfect veggie to add because they wilt and cook in very quickly, even from a frozen state. Leftover veggies such as cauliflower or broccoli are fine, too.
If you're making this soup as S-style, top with grated cheese. Omit that completely for E or Fuel Pull, or use only a very small amount of grated skim mozzarella and use fat-free chicken broth.
For a yummy E-style soup, add some brown or wild rice or quinoa.
