For the Dough

For the Cinnamon Swirl

For the Frosting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Grease 24 cups of 2 standard muffin tins.
  2. Make the dough. Mix together all the ingredients in a large bowl. Spread 1 tablespoon of dough into each of the 24 muffin cups.
  3. Make the cinnamon swirl. Mix all the ingredients together. If it’s too stiff, add just a teaspoon of hot water and stir so that it is thick, but can be scooped out with a measuring spoon. Drop ½ teaspoon of cinnamon swirl onto each muffin cup and give it a little swirl into the dough with a knife. Don’t overmix it.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes. Cool slightly on a wire rack.
  5. Meanwhile, make the frosting. Mix together all the ingredients with a fork until there are no lumps.
  6. Spread the frosting all over the warm cinnamon buns.
