Frappuccino Cake
Description
Take this to any function, be it a baby shower, wedding shower, or potluck, and see how many requests you get for the recipe. It is super easy to make, tastes like the creamiest coffee creation ever, and is always a winner! 1 Multiple Serve Cake
Ingredients
For the Cake
For the Frosting
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Thoroughly spray an 8-inch square cake pan with coconut oil.
-
Whisk together the Baking Blend, sweetener, salt, and baking powder in a large bowl. In another bowl, mix the whole eggs, egg whites, melted butter, and coffee well. Add the wet ingredients to the dry and whisk all together well. (Or put all the ingredients in a food processor and process well, which in our minds is just easier.)
-
Pour the batter into the cake dish and bake for 30 minutes.
-
Meanwhile, make the frosting. Put all the ingredients (except the ground espresso) in a blender and blend until thickened. Place the frosting in the fridge.
-
Cool the cake in the pan, then frost inside the pan. Sprinkle ground espresso beans over the top.
Note
Frappuccino Cake is extra amazing when you use the TH GuateMama Java Ground Roasted Coffee! The GuateMama Java story began when two Mamas boarded a helicopter and flew (or should we say bounced around in the air in treacherous weather) to a village almost 8000 feet up in a remote mountain range. Read more of the story on the product page.
