Ingredients
  • 8 oz frozen broccoli (1/2 of a 16 oz. bag)
  • 1 wedge Light Laughing Cow Cheese (or 1-2 tsp 1% cottage cheese) (or 1-2 tsp 0% greek yogurt)
  • 2 1/2 cups high-protein bone broth (fat free)
  • 1 Tbs Parmesan cheese (optional) (grated)
  • 1 Tbs bacon bits (turkey)
  • TH Mineral Salt (to taste)
  • black pepper (to taste)
  • crushed red pepper flakes (to taste)
  • onion powder (to taste)
  • garlic powder (to taste)
  • TH Nutritional Yeast (small amount)
  • Bragg liquid aminos (to taste)
  • coconut aminos (to taste)
  • soy sauce (optional) (to taste)
  • TH Glucomannan (Gluccie)
Instructions

    Bring broccoli florets and chicken stock to a boil in a small saucepan.

    Simmer for a couple of minutes.

    Transfer to blender and blend until smooth.

    Return to the saucepan and add all seasonings, cheeses, and bacon bits. Stir until cheese melts.

    Put glucomannan in a shaker jar and shake in while whisking vigorously until soup is desired thickness.
