Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Slice the peppers in half and scoop out any seeds or ridges so the peppers become little boats; also slice off the stem ends.
  3. Brown the meat with the onion in a large skillet over high heat. Add the seasoning and stir well.
  4. Stuff the pepper boats with the meat and onion, then top with the grated cheese and green onions, olives, and jalapeños (if using). Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Broil at the end for just a few minutes for crispier tops, but keep a watch out that they don’t burn.

Note

Serving Ideas:  Enjoy with a large, crisp side salad.
