Instructions

  1. Line a standard (9-inch) pie pan with one of the pie crusts.

  1. Place the tea bags in the boiled water and let brew for 5 minutes in an insulated coffee cup so it will stay hot (or cover a regular mug with a saucer).

  1. Measure out 1½ cups plus 2 tablespoons of the tea and put in a blender. Add the gelatin and blend for a few seconds. Turn off the blender, add the coconut oil, and blend for a few seconds so it all melts nicely. Add the collagen, lecithin, sweeteners, baobab powder, salt, vanilla, whey protein, lemon juice, butter extract, and lemon extract (if using) to the blender and blend well on high.

  1. Pour the mixture into the pie crust. Place in the refrigerator until “sliceably” set, which takes 3 to 4 hours.

But even if you are someone who can indulge in desserts made from real cream cheese, it is good to take a break from the pasteurized heavy-cal stuff in exchange for a dessert plate of superfoodiness sometimes. Foods like real cream cheese are on plan, of course, but overdoing them can sometimes cause weight loss stalls. I promise nobody ain’t gonna miss nothin’ in this indulgent treat—sorry to my mother for my lack of grammar, but I’m excited! This cheesecake is easy no-bake style and is brewed with fat-blasting, anti-aging, and beautifying oolong tea. It also contains a nice dose of Baobab Boost powder to infuse your body with vitamin C so you can lose weight more easily. So cut a giant slice and savor each mouthful while you revitalize and revolutionize inside and out.

Now let’s play Eye Spy. If you’ve been making my Trimmy Bisques and Trimmy Dressings, can you find the basic Trimmy ingredients here? Trimmies are at the heart of many of our dairy-free Trimmifying recipes.

NOTE:

If you eat this after a few hours, it will be perfect, but if you wait a day or eat as leftovers, it will set up harder than you may want. Still yummy, but more jello-ish. To remedy this, just use 1/2 teaspoon less of the gelatin.

LAST NOTE:

For a pumpkin version, add 1/2 cup of canned pure pumpkin puree and 1/2 teaspoon grated nutmeg (use the full amount of gelatin).
