Brown 2 lbs ground beef and drain off fat, if it is not grass-fed.

Spread layer of ground beef at bottom of large casserole dish.

Spread thin layer of no-added sugar pizza or pasta sauce over meat.

Add layer of finely chopped green peppers, olives, and onions (or other veggies you like with pizza).

Add layer of grated mozzarella cheese.

Add layer of pepperoni (we use turkey).

Add another layer of ground beef.

Add another very thin layer of pizza or pasta sauce.

Top with more grated cheese and scattered pepperoni.

Bake at 400 for 20 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and toppings are crisping. You may broil at the end for a crispier topping.
