Serving Ideas: Serve garnished with a small amount pecorino romano to stay in FP mode. For a protein boost, add a scoop of collagen to your personal bowl. As you can tell, this soup does not have additional meat protein. It contains a small amount of protein with its inclusion of gelatin and a little cheese. Your children can pile a bunch more grated cheddar cheese in their bowls to up protein a bit (and because they love it) or you can add a little shredded chicken to this soup. But having a lower-protein meal now and then won’t hurt you since most of your meals have ample protein. Your call. Our children love to eat this with lots of buttered Light Rye Wasa crackers.
