Heat the stock in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Place the hot stock in a blender and add the remaining ingredients. With the lid on securely, blend until creamy and frothy.
Note
From page 126, Trim Healthy Mama Cookbook:
SERENE CHATS: "This soup broth sounds so simple, but the stock literally creams up into "mothers milk" for an adult and makes the world seem like a better place. It doesn’t float Pearl’s boat, but it is one of my most favorite treats as an afternoon, comfort snack. I put it in an insulated coffee mug and sip my cares away. Or it is great as part of a meal. It soothes me like nothing else bar God, of course, and a giant hug from hubby.
You can add a swirl of raw, pastured cream to the blender as an optional S twist and this takes an already creamy relaxing toddy into the next dimension of amazingness. There is health science behind this calming drink besides the mouth feel of creaminess and the grounding flavor it brings. It is naturally rich in glycine which is an anti-spasmodic, anti-excitatory amino acid that relaxes the nerves. Drink up, my Purist Pals. Goodness awaits you."
SERVING IDEA: Enjoy this soup in a cup that holds the heat so the delicious broth stays warm until the last sip.
