Ingredients
Instructions
-
Pour any raw nuts onto a baking tray. Pecans and walnuts work really well.
-
Add 1 to 2 tsp coconut oil.
-
Season with mineral salt (or a couple squirts of Bragg's Liquid Aminos) and cayenne pepper, to taste.
-
Toss nuts in seasonings.
-
Broil for about 2 minutes until coconut oil melts (if it was in a solid state). Remove the baking tray from the oven and stir the oil around with the nuts.
-
Return to the oven and broil until nuts are browning. Toss once more.
-
Be sure not to let the nuts burn. Broiling time doesn't take long. Keep a good watch.
Note
The nuts will become crunchy once they have cooled. You might need to portion size them into little baggies if you tend to overdo nuts.
