PEARL CHATS: The title says it all, this stuff is addicting. What could be yummier than bacon- and ranch-flavored chicken? This dish usually goes by Crack Chicken, but I thought that might offend some of you so that you can thank my sixteen-year-old son, Rocky, for its current name. I told him I thought “totally dope” may still be a tad offensive, so then he suggested calling it “Totally Dope Chicken on a Sunday” to appease our fellow churchgoing crowd. Hmmm . . . perhaps not. I’ll let you rename this if the title is not to your liking—the chicken itself is sure to be! (See Recipe Notes) This recipe is a family-serve recipe that feeds 6 to 8 people. This recipe is found in the "Sanity-Saving Crockpot & Electric Pressure Cooker Meals" section of Trim Healthy Table, page 104.

Cook the bacon until crisp in a skillet over medium heat.
Add the bacon and all the other ingredients to a crockpot and stir to combine. Cover and cook on low for 5 hours. Shred the chicken with 2 forks inside the crock and stir all well.
From page 104 of Trim Healthy Table:
"Sadly, most crack chicken recipes call for packets of store-bought ranch seasoning. That stuff is usually laden with MSG, or if not, contains fillers, sugar, and other junk ingredients. No need to put that stuff in your body. It won’t take you more than a few seconds to add the pure seasonings here that give all the ranch flavor you crave."

ELECTRIC PRESSURE COOKER DIRECTIONS: Cook the bacon on sauté mode until crispy. Add all the other ingredients (except the cream cheese and yogurt) to the pot along with 1 cup chicken broth. Seal and cook at high pressure for 8 minutes. Use natural pressure release for 5 minutes followed by quick
pressure release. Stir in the cream cheese and yogurt.
NOTE: This recipe was created and tested using a 6-quart Instant Pot. If you are using a different brand or different size electric pressure cooker, consider modifying the recipe as your results may vary from ours. Example: If you are using an 8-quart, consider adding more liquid as the larger circumference often needs more liquid to come to pressure.
