Ingredients
Instructions
- Mash the drained fish in a bowl with a fork. The little bones are soft, so full of calcium and will easily mash in.
- Add an egg for each can of salmon and combine well.
-
Add oats, ground Joseph's pitas, or TH Baking Blend with a very light sprinkle of MSG-free seasoned salt, optional finely diced onion and diced jalapeños.
- Form into patty shapes. Heat oil on medium high heat in a heavy skillet until very hot, and brown both sides of the patties.

Pearl Chats: "Talk about healthy and yummy! This recipe is easy and budget friendly. My children nicknamed these Crabby patties after that crazy Sponge Bob cartoon that obsesses over crabby patties but these are made from salmon not crab. They’re great for the whole family and a perfect way to get in those important omegas 3 fatty acids into picky children who ordinarily may not want to eat salmon. Salmon is our highest food source of DMAE. This is essential for brain health, found to be effective for conditions like lack of concentration and ADD. It lifts and firms the skin, so that's good for us Mamas too. Salmon is one of the best sources of macro trace minerals such as iodine and zinc and it also provides an abundance of our fat soluble vitamins A and D."
