Instructions

  1. Put the sweet potatoes, green beans, peas, or okra, and onion in a soup pot and add 5 cups of the hot water, cover, and bring to a rapid boil. Reduce the heat and simmer until the sweet potatoes are tender.
  2. Put the gelatin (if using), coconut oil, miso, and capers in a blender with the remaining 2 cups hot water and puree. Stir into the soup pot, then add the garlic, dill, onion powder, cumin, vinegar, lime juice, salt, and nutritional yeast.
  3. Simmer for just a couple more minutes, then stir in the chicken and heat through
  4. Stir, taste for seasoning, and adjust to “own it.”

Note

Serving Ideas: Delicious topped with a tablespoon of lower fat sheep’s cheese like pecorino. You also have the option of placing a scoop of Integral Collagen in your personal bowl for a "Mama boost".
