Instructions

  1. Place the oats, water, nut milk, raisins and psyllium husks (if using) in a small saucepan and bring to a quick boil, stir well then turn to medium and let boil more gently for about 2 -3 minutes.

  1. Take the pan off of the heat, transfer the oatmeal to a bowl and go do something for your morning routine. Come back about 5 minutes later and your oatmeal will be set.

  1. Generously sprinkle cinnamon until top of oatmeal is largely covered. Now sprinkle on the Gentle Sweet and the Mineral Salt.

    1. Place the coconut oil into the 2-4 Tablespoons of very hot water, mix and pour over your bowl of oatmeal. Don’t stir but rather allow the luscious oil/ water mix to naturally flow into every spoonful.

Notes From Pearl

Note 1 - You need 25 - 30 grams of protein in your breakfast to fuel your lean body mass and nurture your metabolism. If you don’t want to add a full cup of cottage cheese, Greek yogurt or sautéed egg whites as a side to your breakfast to get more protein, there are some easier ways to do it without adding all that food volume. You could add a full scoop of Optimized Collagen to your morning coffee.

Or, you could add a full serving (4 Tbs.) of Vanilla Optimized Whey to your coffee or blend it with a glass of unsweetened nut milk. Check out how to make Vanilla Optimized Coffee here. Another alternative is to mix a full serving (1 Tbs.) of ESSENTIAL (our essential amino acid formula which supplies you with excellent protein) with some water and have it with your meal.

Note 2 - If you do not have our Trim Healthy Gentle Sweet just yet, you can use another plan approved sweetener to taste. Gentle Sweet does work best for this Cinnamony-Sweet topping but other on plan sweeteners are stevia, monk fruit, allulose, erythritol and xylitol.
