Jennifer Anteau:

I have been living the THM lifestyle for 2 years and I am so thankful that God revealed this plan to me. I have always struggled with my weight and I would jump from diet to diet, hoping that something would work for me. Sometimes they were successful, but one thing or another would happen that would make me unable to maintain the lifestyle. After my first son was born, I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. I gave up gluten and did feel a lot better, but I started gaining a lot of weight from all of the gluten-free goodies that were available. I ended up opening a gluten-free bakery (which I still own) and spent a lot of time eating a lot of sugar. I couldn’t figure out why I was still feeling miserable and no energy. I started researching diets again, and I found information on THM. I read through the books in one week and everything easily made sense to me. I started the plan almost immediately, and I never looked back. I finally feel so much better. I have the energy I need to run a bakery, homeschool my children, and everything in between! I finally feel free from the diet restrictions, and I can enjoy my food again. Since I have been on THM, I have lost 75 pounds, and I feel so much healthier!!

What Do I Offer as a THM Coach:

My business name is Finding Your Health Through Food. I specialize in working with diets with allergies. I have spent 5 years accommodating several diets at my bakery, so it is very natural for me to adjust meal plans according to the needs. I also work with busy schedules. Not only do I work full-time at my bakery, but I also homeschool my 2 boys. I have learned to adjust meal plans to make food quick and easy at times.

Tips for a Busy Schedule:

– One thing I found is that when I get busy, I forget to stay hydrated. I started making my daily Shrinker the night before. While I’m cleaning up from dinner, I have my tea brewing. I then mix the Shrinker concentrate and put it in my cup to take with me to work. Once at work, I add the ice cubes and water, and my drink is ready.

– I suggest having multiple sets of measuring cups and measuring spoons. I always go through several of them a day, and it’s quicker and easier to have more than one to use instead of washing it each time.

– For busy families, I suggest learning to use an Instant Pot. Many times, I will put rice in the instant pot while we are making a quick skillet meal. By the time the meal is ready, the rice is ready as well.

Below is a breakfast recipe that makes my life a whole lot easier:

Energizing Breakfast Cookies (E)

These cookies are so quick to make and very easy for kids to make as well. It is gluten-free (if oats are gluten-free), egg-free, and can be dairy-free if using collagen. On busy days, I appreciate recipes that I can just dump the ingredients, mix, and bake.

Ingredients:

– 2 cups old fashioned rolled oats (gluten-free, if needed)
– 1 or 2 pinches of mineral salt
– 2/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
– 2 Tablespoons de-fatted peanut flour
– 1/4 cup Gentle Sweet
– 1 teaspoon caramel extract
– 1/4 cup (1 scoop) whey protein powder
– 1/4 cup sugar-free chocolate chips

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Measure all ingredients and place in a bowl. Stir all ingredients together.
3. Using a spoon, scoop out the cookie dough on to a parchment lined cookie sheet. (Dough will be loose, but pack it in as best you can.) You will want to flatten the cookie out since it does not change shape while baking.
4. Bake cookies for 10 minutes.
Makes 12 cookies.
